Libya this week celebrated the return of the country’s largest refinery in Ras Lanuf to “full Libyan control” after more than a decade of legal battles with an Emirati partner over ownership.
On 11 May, state oil firm NOC announced the signing of a final agreement with Dubai-based Trasta Energy, its joint venture partner in the Libyan Emirati Refining Company (Lerco), the owner and operator of the 220,000 b/d Ras Lanuf refinery. (CONTINUED - 847 WORDS)
