A unit at Iran’s Tabriz Petrochemical Company was damaged by a US-Israeli strike on 30 March, although the extent of the damage and exact impact on the complex’s 14 processing units is yet to be clarified. The company’s nominal production capacity stands at 870,000 t/y of various products including polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene.
Operations are based around the company’s main olefins cracker which runs on naphtha and LPG feedstock, producing 136,000 t/y of ethylene and 56,000 t/y of propylene. (CONTINUED - 189 WORDS)
