Iraq’s oil ministry said on 26 February that Basrah Gas Company (BGC: state-owned South Gas 51%, Shell 44%, Mitsubishi 5%) is now capturing 86% of associated gas produced at Basra’s Rumaila, Zubair and West Qurna-1 oil fields.

BGC is now processing around 1.2bn cfd, equivalent to 85% of its total 1.4bn cfd capacity. Sales gas output is now more than 1bn cfd, alongside around 7,100 t/d of LPG and 20,000 b/d of condensate. (CONTINUED - 171 WORDS)
