US major Chevron has finally submitted its bid for four gas exploration blocks offshore Greece, including two south of Crete, which extend into contested waters claimed by Libya (see map & MEES, 27 June).
“Chevron confirms it has submitted jointly with HelleniQ Energy, bids to Greece’s Hellenic Hydrocarbons and Energy Resources Management Company (HEREMA) for 4 open blocks offshore Greece,” the US major said in a statement on 10 September. (CONTINUED - 873 WORDS)
