Egypt exported its fourth LNG cargo of 2025 despite imports still running at record levels. The LNG Endurance departed for Turkey on 18 October after loading a 70,000-ton cargo from the 7.2mn t/y ELNG export facility at Idku for TotalEnergies, according to Kpler. The cargo is bound for Turkey, which was Egypt’s largest customer over the 2021-2023 period when Egypt was regularly exporting LNG (MEES, 5 January 2024).

It is the third cargo Egypt has exported since late September, with Total lifting a cargo late last month and ELNG operator Shell lifting another cargo on 11 October (MEES, 17 October). The recent exports are contracted cargoes. (CONTINUED - 149 WORDS)
