IMF officials on 1 February left Cairo after two weeks of intense face-to-face talks with Egyptian officials in a bid to finalize a long-mooted and much-needed bailout for Egypt’s struggling economy.

Speaking the same day, IMF MD Kristalina Georgieva said “we are in this very last stretch when we are working on the details of implementation.
