After nearly two months of scrambling to secure enough regasification capacity to help meet its growing gas demand, Egypt was finally able last week to connect both the 750mn cfd Energos Eskimo and 750mn cfd Energos Power floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs) to its national grid.
They join the 750mn cfd Hoegh Galleon at Ain Sukhna on the Red Sea, taking Egypt’s regasification capacity to 2.25bn cfd. The Energos Eskimo imported its first cargo on 15 July while the Energos Power took delivery of its first cargo on 19 July, according to Kpler. (CONTINUED - 943 WORDS)
