Egypt’s gas output fell for an eighth consecutive month for May, dropping 100mn cfd to a three year low 5.841bn cfd, some 1.25bn cfd below the peak 7.193bn cfd posted in September 2021 (see chart). At an average of 6.073bn cfd for the first five months of 2023, volumes are 8% or 530mn cfd below year-ago levels.
