The Zallaf subsidiary of Libya’s NOC on 26 March signed a FEED contract with US firm Honeywell UOP for a 30,000 b/d refinery at Ubari in the Murzuq Basin of Libya’s far southwest (see map).
Libya Advances Downstream & Gas Plans With Honeywell Deal
Libya’s NOC has signed up Honeywell UOP to help its downstream and gas capture ambitions. A key focus is Libya’s far southwest where in addition to a new 30,000 b/d refinery, NOC subsidiary Zallaf has several upstream projects.
