Norway’s Scatec has secured financing of “up to” €35mn ($38.6mn) each for two 50MW solar PV projects in Tunisia, the London-based EBRD development bank disclosed this week.

The “senior debt financing” for the 50MW Tozeur and 50MW Sidi Bouzid plants consists of a loan of almost €20mn each allocated by the EBRD, with another €15mn each coming from French development fund Proparco. The EBRD puts the total cost of the projects at €47.7mn apiece. (CONTINUED - 225 WORDS)
