Aydin Calik

Aydin Calik is the North Africa Editor at MEES, focusing on Algeria, Libya and Tunisia. Based in Nicosia since 2015, Aydin joined MEES in April 2018. He revamped MEES' map database and retains his role as maps editor. Before joining MEES, Aydin held the position of world news editor at the Nicosia-based Cyprus Mail and partly covered the daily's Turkish Cypriot news. Aydin studied Politics & International Relations at the University of Kent in the UK.
