Oil minister Mohamed Aoun says that Libya is aiming to boost production to 2-2.5mn b/d but that energy transition pressures mean this needs to happen sooner rather than later.

“The aim of the international community is to go [with] less fossil fuels. This will put some pressure on us … we have to exploit what we have quickly and develop our country and Africa,” he told this week’s Africa Energy Week conference in Cape Town. (CONTINUED - 437 WORDS)
