Tunisian firms HBG Holding, Nour Energy and France’s Akuo Energy have signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with state-utility Steg for a 10MW solar PV project located in the south-eastern governorate of Gabes.
The firms hope to complete financing for the TD23.2 ($7.8mn) project in 2021 for 2022 start up, according to a 16 September Akuo statement. The plant was awarded as part of Tunisia’s third solar round which saw a total of 70MW awarded (MEES, 19 June). (CONTINUED - 122 WORDS)
