Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) on 7 May revealed a plan to build an LPG plant at its 300,000 b/d capacity El Sharara field that would capture and bottle currently flared gas. NOC says “This cooking gas will then be made available to residents in southern Libya at its legal price.”
