*Spain saw crude imports fall 18% to 1.10mn b/d the first nine months of 2019 as the demand destroying effects of Covid-19 took their toll on the economy. Q3, at 1.07mn b/d, saw only a slight rebound from Q2’s nine-year low of 1.04mn b/d.

*But all suppliers weren’t hit equally. Whilst number one supplier Nigeria notched up a 4% year-on-year rise to 233,000 b/d for 9M 2020, number two Mexico fell by 16% to 152,000 b/d.
