The UN’s Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced on 11 November the discovery of traces of man-made uranium at a site in Iran that is not included in Tehran’s nuclear declarations under the July 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement, which led the international community to lift economic sanctions against Iran in early 2016.

While the IAEA did not reveal where the uranium samples were taken, reports said that IAEA inspectors were thought to have taken samples from a building at Turquzabad in Tehran province. (CONTINUED - 645 WORDS)
