The world’s eyes were on Saudi Arabia this week as it hosted its second Future Investment Initiative (FII), dubbed ‘Davos in the desert’, against an international backdrop of condemnation in light of the murder of Jamal Khashoggi in Saudi Arabia’s Istanbul consulate on 2 October.
