A gas pipeline project between Iran and Pakistan that has been stalled for the better part of 20 years could finally see the light, thanks to the nuclear accord signed last week between Iran and the international community, Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says.

Originally dubbed the Peace Pipeline, the project - which initially also included India - has since its inception faced countless obstacles, the most recent of which pertained to the international sanctions in place on Iran over its disputed nuclear program.
