Libyan Gas Exports Show Unlikely Resilience

Despite Libya’s massive and rising geopolitical problems, shipments of gas to Italy through the Eni-operated 11bcm/year Greenstream pipeline – Libya’s only gas export outlet – are running at their highest level in over a year.

Volumes have been uninterrupted since 9 October and have been over 22mn cmd every day so far this month.

Gas comes from two Eni-operated fields: offshore Bouri, and Wafa on the Algerian border.
