This week saw the start of what is looking to be a busy month for Oman’s upstream sector as two oil companies, both with a wealth of experience in the country, were awarded exploration and production sharing agreements (EPSAs) for two blocks put on offer in licensing rounds last year. A third block award is expected to follow shortly, an official at Oman’s Ministry of Oil and Gas (MOG) tells MEES.
