Oil services giant SLB announced a series of major integrated well construction contracts with Saudi Aramco on 24 September. It has been awarded four contracts under which it “will manage end-to-end well construction services, delivering more than 450 wells in the three-year term, with an optional extension of up to two years.”
SLB CEO Olivier Le Peuch hailed the development on LinkedIn, stating that “by bringing together every aspect of well delivery – including planning, execution, and digital workflows – through a technology-enabled operating model, we will help improve efficiency, consistency, and well performance across hundreds of wells in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” (CONTINUED - 100 WORDS)
