Egypt and Sudan have increased the capacity of their cross-border electricity interconnection from 50MW to 75MW (80MWp), the Sudanese energy ministry said on 10 September.
The increase is intended to help stabilize power supplies and support farming communities in Sudan’s Northern State, the statement said following talks between Minister al-Moatassem Ibrahim Ahmed and the Egyptian government. (CONTINUED - 199 WORDS)
