S engineering firm McDermott has won a major subsea contract for Italian major Eni’s development of Cyprus’ 3.1tcf Cronos gas field.

McDermott announced the award on 8 September, saying it will provide project management, engineering, procurement and installation support for the Block 6 development. McDermott classifies the award as “substantial,” which it defines as a contract worth $500-750mn. (CONTINUED - 172 WORDS)
