Work is progressing at Oman’s Block 54 where operator OQ Exploration and Production (OQEP 60%op) plans to drill its first well in 2027. Re-entry into the previous BW-1 well at the Batha oil field has also been completed, Genel Energy (40%) said in its 1H earnings calls this week.
