Yemen’s armed Houthi movement has escalated its war with the internationally recognized government of Yemen. Houthi attacks on three military camps in the government-controlled regions of Marib and Hadhramaut reportedly killed dozens on 6 August. The group said a significant military operation is underway in response to “large Saudi military buildups.”
