After years of delay and legal limbo (MEES, 27 October 2017), Libya’s North Hamada development project on Area 47 could finally get off the ground, with a new foreign partner hoping to move the project beyond its original development targets.
On 6 July, Qatari-Syrian private firm UCC Holding announced that its subsidiary Urbacon Energy Libya had secured an Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement (EPSA) with Libya’s NOC and the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) for Area 47 in the Ghadames Basin. (CONTINUED - 1104 WORDS)
