Israel’s Energy Ministry announced on 5 May that it has launched a market survey to examine the potential development of large-scale natural gas storage infrastructure, in a move aimed at reinforcing energy security amid ongoing conflict and rising demand pressures. The initiative, led by the Natural Gas Authority, seeks input from domestic and international players on viable technologies and commercial models capable of ensuring continuity of supply during emergencies, disruptions and peak consumption periods.
