Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum has been quick to announce positive results from UK major Shell’s most recent drilling in the country’s offshore (MEES, 20 February).

“The results of drilling the exploratory well ‘Sirius 1X’ in the North East El Amriya area in the Mediterranean Sea, operated by Shell, have shown encouraging initial indications after reaching the target depth of 2,115 meters,” the ministry announced on 10 March. (CONTINUED - 197 WORDS)
