The Tortue FLNG, situated on the Mauritania/Senegal maritime border, exported 1.38mn tons of LNG in 2025, its first year of operation, according to Kpler. Dallas-based Kosmos Energy which holds a 27% stake in the project “expects cargo liftings to nearly double in 2026,” it said in a 5 January operations update.
