Volumes of gas within Cyprus’ Block 10 could amount to around 8-9tcf, Cyprus’ spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis said on 25 September. His remarks came after a meeting between President Nikos Christoudoulides and ExxonMobil VP John Ardill in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Exxon operates Block 10 with a 60% stake alongside QatarEnergy (40%).
Mr Ardill updated the Cypriot President on the initial results of the most recent Pegasus exploration well and said that “according to the initial data they have before them, combined with Glaucos, the amount of natural gas, as the Vice President of the company said, may amount to 8 to 9 trillion cubic feet.” (CONTINUED - 344 WORDS)
