TotalEnergies and QatarEnergy said on 18 September that Iraq’s multi-faceted Gas Growth Integrated Project (GGIP) was now in full execution with the start of construction of the Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP) and the phase two development of the Ratawi oil field (MEES, 15 August). These were the last two major contracts of the integrated project. “All four GGIP pillars—gas, solar, oil and water—are now underway,” the French major said.
