The Energos Power FSRU arrived this week at the Tahya Misr station at the port of Alexandria on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast following its journey from Germany. The vessel will undergo piping connection modifications before heading to the Red Sea’s Ain Sukhna where it will join the Hoegh Galleon FSRU, which has been operating for Egypt since June last year (MEES, 5 July 2024).
Another two FSRU’s are due this summer (MEES, 16 May); Turkish state firm Botas’ Vasant 1 will head to the Mediterranean UGDC port, adjacent to Damietta, while the Energos Eskimo will be transferred from Jordan’s Aqaba to Ain Sukhna in June (MEES, 6 December 2024). (CONTINUED - 150 WORDS)
