Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance listed start up of the Jafurah Basin unconventional gas project as one of the key energy sector achievements for 2025 in its 2026 budget document (see p18). But this appears more an assessment based on official plans for 2025 start-up than confirmation that commercial operations have now begun.
