*Chinese imports of Middle Eastern crude increased to a four-month high of 4.93mn b/d in October. The figure rises to 6.398mn b/d when including Indonesia and Malaysian volumes which are largely comprised of mislabeled sanctioned Iranian barrels.
*Imports from Russia also increased, with the 2.17mn b/d supplied the highest figure since December 2024. Russia remained the largest single supplier, ahead of Saudi Arabia’s 1.64mn b/d.
