Cairo based Egypt Kuwait Holding (EKH) has agreed a ten-year extension to its Offshore North Sinai (ONS) concession, the country’s Petroleum Ministry announced in a statement on 1 October. “The 10-year reassignment, effective until 2035, commits the company to drilling three exploratory oil and gas wells in the concession area,” the ministry says.
The Tao and Kamose fields, within the concession produced 53mn cfd for 2024 after peaking at 80mn cfd in 2019 (MEES, 22 November 2019). (CONTINUED - 152 WORDS)
