Morocco power demand recorded a new peak load record of 7.31GW on 11 August, up by 1% on the previous record of 7.25GW set on 25 July last year.
The country’s energy ministry says that the country’s “national power system was able to respond to this demand with available capacity of 8.3GW thanks to the key contributions of both renewables and baseload coal.” (CONTINUED - 118 WORDS)
