Saudi renewables developer Acwa Power has fleshed out a green hydrogen/ammonia MoU signed with Egypt just over a year ago (MEES, 9 December 2022).
Acwa on 20 December announced the signing of a “framework agreement… to outline the development of the first phase of the green hydrogen project in Egypt with a capacity of 600,000 t/y of green ammonia, with an investment in excess of $4bn, with the intention of scaling up to a second phase with a potential capacity of 2mn t/y… of green hydrogen.” (CONTINUED - 388 WORDS)
