*US liquids output (crude plus NGLs) has been rising steadily in recent months, hitting 17.76mn b/d for June. According to the latest EIA predictions, it is set to rise to 18.06mn b/d for August and 18.20mn b/d for September, which would put it well in excess of the current record high of 18.07mn b/d set in March 2020 (see chart 1 and table for full data).
