Abu Dhabi state firm Mubadala Petroleum’s working interest production has hit 500,000 boe/d the firm announced on 1 June, up 22% on the 2021 annual average. The firm cites the acquisition of a 22% stake in Israel’s 10.5 tcf Tamar gas field in late 2021 as a major recent driver (MEES, 10 December 2021). In May, the firm’s operated Pegaga field in Malaysia increased output to 500mn cfd and 16,000 b/d condensate after starting up in March. Gas now accounts for nearly 70% of output.
