Taiwan Middle East Crude Supplies Fall 9% For Q1 Amid Increased US Imports

*Taiwan’s Q1 crude imports rose by 6% (50,000 b/d) quarter-on-quarter to 827,000 b/d in Q1, and by 17% (118,000 b/d) from the same period in 2021. This left it around 30,000 b/d below 1Q 2020 levels before Taiwan’s imports were cut amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
