Abu Dhabi state energy giant Adnoc announced on 17 February that it had made framework agreement awards for wireline logging and perforation valued at $1.94bn “to enable drilling growth.” The awards are to four companies - Adnoc Drilling, Schlumberger, Haliburton, and Weatherford – and followed a competitive tendering process. Adnoc says that awards cover onshore and offshore fields and will run for five years with an option for a further two years.
