Abu Dhabi is building momentum behind its planned blue ammonia industry. Having announced its first sale ever, to Japan’s Itochu, on 3 August, it has now sold two further cargoes. All sales were made in partnership with Fertiglobe – a joint venture between Egypt’s OCI (58%) and Adnoc (42%) – but the shipments have not yet been made (MEES, 6 August).
On 10 August, Adnoc announced the sale of a shipment to Japan’s Idemitsu, and on 17 August, the third sale was announced, this time to Japan’s Inpex. (CONTINUED - 147 WORDS)
