The JV of Saudi Arabia’s Advanced Petrochemical Company (85%) and South Korea’s SK Gas (15%) has awarded key contracts worth $1.68bn for its planned propane dehydrogenation/polypropylene (PDH/PP) complex at Jubail (MEES, 9 October 2020).

The facility is planned to start up in the second half of 2024 and will comprise of a PDH plant to process 995,000 t/y of propane in order to manufacture 843,000 t/y of propylene, which will then be used as feedstock for two 400,000 t/y PP plants. (CONTINUED - 129 WORDS)
