Commissioning of Saudi Aramco’s 400,000 b/d Jazan refinery is underway, and the energy giant has loaded the first products from the test runs onto a tanker. Data intelligence firm Kpler trade flows show that a 700,000 barrel cargo of dirty products – most likely either VGO or offspec fuel oil – was loaded onto the Alberta on 6 February.

With commissioning continuing, Kpler data shows that a 2mn barrel cargo of Arab Medium was discharged at Jazan earlier this month, weeks after the refinery took delivery of an initial cargo for testing (MEES, 15 January). (CONTINUED - 383 WORDS)
