The partners in Israel’s two producing gas fields, 22tcf Leviathan and 11tcf Tamar, this week came to an agreement with state-owned Israel Natural Gas Lines (INGL) to construct a 46km, 36” offshore pipeline from Ashdod to Ashkelon in southern Israel (see map).

Chevron and its partners at the Leviathan and Tamar fields and Israel’s state gas transmission firm INGL agreed this week to the construction of a bypass pipeline enabling Israel-Egypt gas volumes to hit 650mn cfd by late next year.
