UAE nuclear regulator FANR announced on 3 March that the loading of nuclear fuel assemblies into the Barakah-1 nuclear plant in Abu Dhabi has been safely completed. The loading was undertaken by the Nawah joint venture of state nuclear developer Enec and Korean contractor Kepco, established to operate four reactors at Barakah with 5.6GW combined capacity.
