Saudi Arabia suffered another embarrassing drone attack on key energy infrastructure during the morning of 17 August. While damage appears to have been minimal, this was the second successful attack on high profile energy assets in barely three months. Will more attacks follow?

The Ministry of Energy said that at 6.20 AM, “a processing unit of Shaybah’s natural gas plant was targeted by explosive-laden drones, resulting in a limited fire.
