US oilfield services firm Halliburton has awarded US engineering firm Fluor an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a plant to manufacture oilfield chemicals to be built in the PlasChem industrial park alongside the Sadara petchems complex at Jubail on the Saudi Gulf coast.

Fluor has completed front end engineering design (FEED) for the plant, which will process 60,000 t/y of ethylene oxide and 20,000 t/y of propylene oxide from Aramco and US firm Dow Chemical’s giant Sadara complex. (CONTINUED - 164 WORDS)
