*With (official) Chinese imports of Venezuelan crude falling to zero for October (MEES, 29 November) this leaves India as the last significant buyer of crude from the beleaguered Opec country.

*India took 283,000 b/d from Venezuela in October, only slightly below the 292,000 b/d average for the first 10 months of the year which in turn is down 13% on the same period a year earlier – a big fall but much less than the precipitous near-50% fall in Venezuela’s output over the same period.
