Vagit Alekperov, the CEO of private Russian oil firm Lukoil, is looking into the possibilities of cooperating with Saudi Aramco in African upstream projects. Mr Alekperov was speaking in Sochi at the Russia-Africa Summit when he made the comments, in quotes carried by Russian news agency Interfax. Mr Alekperov did not provide any further details on possible projects, but Lukoil has existing assets in Egypt, Ghana, Cameroon and Nigeria.
